Maci Giggling with Dad!

The last week or so we’ve noticed that Maci had started giggling a little bit every once in awhile. Tonight she was being kinda fussy so I decided to be extra silly and move her around a bit. She enjoyed the movement and gave us some great giggles while she was having so much fun! This is just a sign of things to come! What an awesome girl!

Getting bigger…

It’s almost been 3 months now and Maci is growing so much! She has been doing a great job sitting and holding herself up. The past several weeks she has been making more noises and she is smiling alot. That reminds me that I have a video I need to post…I’ll try and get that up this week. I’ve added more recent photos to our 2010 Family Photo Album so go there to see Maci growing!

Well the site is at a stage that I can show it off so here’s a down and dirty roadmap to getting around here. Any pages can be accessed at the top of the screen. The photo albums page is where it’s at! All of our family photos, vacations, holidays, and more are included here. Additionally I have my best aviation photographs and other photography available for your viewing pleasure! All albums, posts, and photos accept comments so feel free to leave your comments for us to see! The Live Audio page is just an easter egg for visitors and contains the two audio feeds that I run of local fire departments. It’s good listening if you want to know what’s going on out there so enjoy! More posts and photos coming soon!

Maci Ann Thetford arrived on May 1, 2010 weighing in at 7lbs. 3oz! She’s beautiful and is going to bring so much joy! I’ve added a photo album of Maci’s first days with us and of course we’ll have more photos here as she grows older. Thanks for everyone’s support and prayers!

Keep it simple stupid…that’s what I’m looking for in our new WordPress site! Time management has become a big issue lately and with a baby on the way – That’s right a baby girl coming soon! – I needed something a little more simple to keep updated than the monster Joomla site I was trying to run. Joomla is great web site software but I just want to log in, post, and be done. I had too much customization and time invested in the old site that it was difficult to update. Hopefully this will be better and I’ll try not to customize too much! I’ll be working on getting our photos up as soon as possible and posting some new things as well. Thanks for visiting!
